Dr. Sinha, a GP with a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine, leads the Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ECSWT) service for Greater Trochanter Pain Syndrome at Llandough Hospital and now brings this expertise to the Cardiff Wellness Centre.
At the clinic, he enhances care with cutting-edge, non-invasive ECSWT for conditions such as iliotibial band syndrome, hamstring and patellar tendinopathies. Known for its safety and effectiveness, ECSWT delivers targeted low-energy sound impulses—either focused or radial—without the need for anesthesia or surgery. Each 5–15 minute session involves applying a conductive gel followed by therapeutic pulses to the affected area. Treatments are generally well-tolerated, with benefits building over a course and often lasting long-term.
Patients are assessed in-clinic and referred for ECSWT if appropriate, with tailored treatment plans for each condition.
