Our Process
At our clinic, we understand that it can be sometimes be difficult to arrange a blood test with your own GP or at a local hospital, thus we provide a private phlebotomy service, geared towards Metabolic health. We use a private laboratory service at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff to expedite your results and most blood results will be available within 48 hours. Our doctor and medical team will let you know of the specific turn-around-times for these results.
What tests do we offer?

Risk of cardiovascular disease
Key markers may include:
-
High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP)

Ferritin (also a marker of inflammation when elevated)
Omega 3 Testing- £120
The omega-3 index measures the percentage of EPA and DHA in your red blood cells, reflecting your long-term omega-3 intake. A target range of 8-11% is generally recommended for optimal health benefits, including cardiovascular and brain health.
Parathyroid Hormone (PTH) - £110
Parathyroid hormone is a key regulator of calcium and phosphate levels in the blood. It’s produced by the parathyroid glands and helps control bone health, kidney function, and vitamin D activity. Measuring PTH levels can help diagnose conditions like hyperparathyroidism, calcium imbalances, and certain bone disorders.
Testosterone Test - £90
Testosterone is a vital hormone that plays a key role in muscle mass, energy levels, mood, libido, and overall hormonal balance. A blood test for testosterone can help investigate symptoms such as fatigue, low sex drive, mood changes, or difficulty building muscle. It’s also used to monitor hormone therapy and assess conditions like low testosterone (hypogonadism).
