Peri/postmenopausal women

Bone mineral density peaks in our early 30's and then unfortunately, declines thereafter. The decline is dependent on many factors but all too commonly, we do not realise there is a problem until a patient presents with a fracture.

Get your BMD DEXA scan done to optimise for the future, a lot can be done from a lifestyle and nutrition point of view, but we cannot do this without measuring (this scan is different to the body comp as it is more detailed in view of BMD).
